I created these designs for women who aren’t afraid to stand out in a crowd. The aim was to make a range of fabrics that could be used for festival wear and activewear.
My fundamental inspiration were the open-minded, fun and free women I was designing these for – interpreted by using basic traditional Japanese block printing and combining it with organic, unplanned shapes and paint splatters to create a wild, clean mess. I went for bright and bold colour schemes which really enhanced the splatters.
The designs are a combination of digital drawings and hand paintings, which were finalised in Photoshop and Illustrator.
This fashion collection is versatile and unique with loads of attitude.
